With our powerful technology, and the expanding population, our human failings and triumphs are on display more vividly than ever before. As we become more aware of each other by way of the internet, radio, tv, etc. we are faced with the evidence of a common human thread, that connects us to our ancesters. The news we receive may arrive via ever changing vehicles for the media, but we still have to decide what is true for us... and what is not. We still have to make tough choices. As it was in the beginning, so it is now. We still have wars. We still have killers and liars. We still have greed, ignorance, and hate. We still have death. Then there is the good news! We still have peace. We still have compassionate people, truth tellers, and artists. We still have generosity and love. We still have music. We still have life! As long as there is humanity there will be this conflict. Yin Yang, good vs. evil, God vs. the devil, light vs. dark... Call it what you will. There is a symbiotic relationship in these forces that takes place in humanity as a whole, and in every one of us as individuals. We are forever trying to find the balance"
